How do we assist in the sale process?
Receiving accurate advice from the onset is crucial. Prior to signing a Sale and Purchase Agreement, our role involves reviewing it to ensure you’re comfortable with the stipulated terms. We can communicate with the real estate agent and potential buyer if any modifications are required.
Following the signing of the Sale and Purchase Agreement, further discussions might ensue. The buyer may propose changes, such as a reduction in purchase price or additional work to be performed by the Vendor. We’re here to explain your available options and facilitate these discussions on your behalf.
We manage the mortgage details. In anticipation of your sale, we liaise with your bank and organise for your mortgage to be discharged on the settlement day. Additionally, we get in touch with the Council. Rates are apportioned at settlement, ensuring you don’t pay more than necessary.
On settlement day, we handle the property title, which will be transferred to the buyer’s name, and coordinate the transfer of the net sale proceeds into your account.
